Membership:

• NEBA main contacts was revised reflecting the new Board and Audit Committee, and updated Governing Council and Country or Regional Representatives.
• We welcome Andris Ķesteris of the Latvian Canadian Council as a NEBA Business member and member of the NEBA Governing Council.
• NEBA and the Canada-Eurasia Chamber of Commerce (CECC) have agreed on cooperation between the two organizations.
• NEBA and the Latvian Canadian Council have agreed on cooperation between the two organizations.

Developments of the NEBA web site and Social Media:

• An article on the Focus on “member-driven initiatives” provides clarification as to why the approach we are using will benefit members

Programs

• Krišjānis Brūns of Baltic Medical Destinations takes over the management of Baltic Management Destinations to manage the medical tourism section of the Visit Latvia Program.
• NEBA’s “Networking through sport” initiative was started with the first meeting taking place on Monday, June 12th, 2023, with a follow-up meeting planned for Monday, July 10th, 2023. Our members and friends are most welcome to participate in this initiative. Please notify the writer of your interest.
